This is a list of commonly asked questions and answers regarding the conference Designing Pathways Toward Climate Neutrality, which will take place from 6 to 8 October 2021 and will be organized in a hybrid form. If you have additional questions please write us at climate climatepath2050@ijs.si.

Registration:

  • How can I register?

Registration will be possible at the end of August.

  • How will I know if I am registered?

After you submit your registration form, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration for the conference. You can also expect to receive more information a few days before the conference. Please also check your spam or junk email folder.

  • How much does registration cost?

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

  • Can I cancel my registration?

If you wish to deregister or do not intend to attend, please inform us by sending an e-mail to climatepath2050@ijs.si.

On-site Conference:

  • Is the conference taking place online? I wish to attend the conference on-site. How can I register?

This is a hybrid conference, taking place online and on-site in Ljubljana. If you are interested in participating on-site, please let us know through the registration form, in which you can express your preference by selecting the appropriate box “I am interested in attending on-site”.

Whether on-site participation will be possible and how many people will be permitted to attend the conference on-site depends on the pandemic measures in force at the time. In the weeks leading up to the conference, you can expect more information with regard to on-site attendance.

Virtual Conference:

  • What do I need to attend the virtual conference?

You need a good internet connection, any appropriate device or computer, and valid registration. You will receive a unique link to access the conference.

  • When will I receive a conference link?

The online conference will be held on Zoom. You will receive an invitation before the conference and on the day before the conference.

  • How can I ask questions during the virtual conference?

There are several possibilities as regards asking questions during the conference sessions:

    • You can submit your questions in advance through the form available here, on which you can also indicate that you are interested in asking a question during the conference in person.
    • During the conference, you will be able to ask questions in written format or by expressing your wish to ask a question in person.
  • Will conference sessions be recorded?

Yes. All sessions will be recorded and made available online a few days after the conference.
